Tabitha Elkins | Edge of Nowhere

Tabitha Elkins has released a new single, "Edge of Nowhere" for her new album. The song has a vintage Janis Joplin feel that has waves of emotion packed into the music. Her lyrics convey deep emotion and bring a meaningful perspective to how life can affect all of us. The funky bass line drives the track and gets your foot tapping to the rhythm.

She is a determined musician that pours every bit of her soul into the music. The ambiance of the music sets the stage for the dramatic performance and envelopes the message. This song has a great Motown rhythm similar to Bonnie Raitt & Sheryl Crow. Plus the vocals spread across the spectrum just like Bruce Springsteen. Tabitha's music will impress fans of rock, pop, and alternative music.

Production quality is top notch on this album. Tabitha has teamed up with some of the industry's best producers to create a song that will last for many years in the hearts of the world. It is great to have new music with such emotion and production quality and we have Rubicon Media to thank for putting their faith in Tabitha's music.

Tabitha is a talented musician and played most instruments herself, but also recruited musicians hired from "Fiverr.com" for ukelele, guitar solos and drums.

"Upside Down World", coming in May 2016 to CD Baby, Apple iTunes, and Amazon. The album features 10 originals, including new version of viral Youtube hit, Candyland. The album is produced by rapper/producer Steffen Jurkat and is being released this May on Mind Guard Records (single release date: April 22, 2016).

Eric Borgos | The Wonder Years

Songwriters are the pulse of the music industry. Without them, there would be a huge void in the world of music. Instruments alone cannot convey the passion and emotion that are carried by the composition of lyrics. Some of the most influential songs over history would not have been as popular if not for the deep and striking lyrics that  resonate over and over in the minds of listeners.

KAVA | Solution

For all of you into the psychedelic music, I've got a new band for you to check out. KAVA is a band that has drifted away into the abyss of imagination and come back with some really trippy music. Somewhere between Pink Floyd and Black Sabbath lies the music of KAVA. There are parts of their songs that are very reminiscent of the 70's psych rock with some of the modern tones of the contemporary rock bands. The music will surround you and take you on a voyage through the deepest depths of your imagination.

The first single from the new album has undertones of the early Pink Floyd eras with some really dark vocals. The music is almost meditative and pulls you into a trance of the subconscious. The aura of the music is very lucid and moves through the mind like the voices in your head. If you are looking for some new music that has a relaxing and thought provoking atmosphere, you have now found the band that has the right chemistry. Get lost in the serenity of the musical creations of KAVA.

Solution is the first release off upcoming album Prophet Bob, their 5th release

KAVA is a psych rock trio:
Marshall Greenhouse (Chicago)- drums, percussion, Kaossilators
Wilson (Denver)- guitars, keys
Ryan Behling (Central Coast, CA)- bass, vocals

Influences:

STV | Hidden In The Dark

STV has released a new single and it is every bit as good as expected. STV has formulated a new craft of sound that leaves a lasting impression on the world.

Music can be deeply emotional and connect to the psyche of the human soul. STV's new track, "Hidden in the Dark," has the elements that make you replay the music over and over in your head. The track has the undertones of Nine Inch Nails with the class and elegance of David Bowie's vocal approach. There is space and depth in the music that has vast landscapes of imagination. Locked away in tone of the notes are the electrical charges of motion that spawn the travel of creativity.

Though many musicians plateau in their careers, STV has elevated the sound and brought a new image to music. The new album SOS is a phenomenal addition to the STV lineage of music. The cover of Marilyn Manson's "ROCK IS DEAD" is a new look at the creativity of STV and the genius of Manson's lyrics. Well worth a listen.
